Anyone attempting to get in direct contact with Prima will more than likely be using his Acolyte to request it. A slim drone as silver as its master, it moves with a purposeful bearing and seems to always be attending some job or another, but it seems willing enough to spare a few moments.


Feel free to RP out the contact, or to simply give a summary.

[McCrane has prepared a video detailing the headquarters of the new police, which he submits for your (and Vector's) perusal.]

[Tarn, ever polite and soft-spoken, takes advantage of the fact that this drone is willing to give him a minute of attention.]

I have a request for the person who gives you your directives. I trust you can pass along the message?

[the Acolyte regards Tarn for a moment, then nods dutifully]

What would you ask of him?

[A vague gesture that somehow appears grandiose, even though Tarn has the impression such things are wasted on these creatures]

This place is full of light. Surely it would be an easy thing to find someway to contain a small portion of it -- as a memento in remembrance for those who are no longer with us. I need to know where I might find something suitable to honour someone worthy of a great respect.

That's the message.

[He wants a piece of whatever it is that lights the Haven, something which is distinctly closer to his grasp in this temple.]

[the Acolyte considers for a moment, then nods, making to move off.]

I will speak with him, and find you when I have his reply.

[that 'find you' will happen later - a good few hours later. but wherever Tarn is, there will be an Acolyte approaching him, a dark box in its arms]

That would do, [Tarn agrees. He'd settle for anything with the same symbolic value, but really, he's more curious what (if anything) he'll get.]

Oh? [he asks, when he notices the drone.]

[once it's close enough, the Acolyte opens up the box in presentation; inside are a number of small crystals, each emitting a soft glow of light.

sizewise, they're about equal to a segment of one of Tarn's fingers.]

Prima bids these be treated with care. They are fragile, and will not endure much rough handling.

I'm not without a soft touch when the situation calls for it.

[The metal pieces are put down as Tarn reaches over to take the box.]

Tell him these have been received.

[the box is surrendered, the Acolyte nodding]

He will know. May they be of use to you.

[and with that, unless Tarn has anything else for it, it'll turn to go]

[When he approaches the Acolyte this time, it is with more sense of purpose than before. What he needs to talk about now is important.]

Would you let Prima know I need to speak with him?

I need his counsel. [And his promise. He is worried about too much, these days, and this may affect the one thing in his life that matters most: The Brave Police.]

[the Acolyte looks at McCrane, then nods]

I will see if he is available.

[it leaves, and a short while later, it returns, beckoning McCrane to follow. it'll lead him up some stairs to where Prima is - standing at one of the windows of the tower, taking in the view. he'll turn as McCrane approaches.]

You wished to speak with me?

[mccrane]

[When the Acolyte leads him, he follows, going over the words he wants to say in his head. He is here with a resolve, but upon seeing Prima it momentarily vanishes. It is hard not to be daunted by the Firstforged, by size and presence alone.]

I...yes.

[He cannot let that stop him, however. He has faced larger threats, and Prima...Prima is not a threat. Bearing himself up to his full height, just short of 20 feet, he approaches.]

Blurr has already spoken with Megatronus about why Overlord was released, but I...I cannot accept it, fully.

[He frowns.]

We need to be able to govern ourselves. There must be some method of maintaining the law and metering our own punishments...because without them, then we are entirely reliant upon you.

That is not fair to you, or to us.

[primianpolarity]

[Prima looks down at McCrane without - well, looking down his nose, so to speak. it seems clear that McCrane has at least some standing with him, if only by the posture of his body.

not an equal, but nowhere near someone to be dismissed. he does nod in agreement, at least.]

It is not. As things stand, we watch over our own, and if our attention could be fully placed on other matters, it could lead to solving our predicament.

However, we have raised this option before. Vector was the one to deliver it, I believe. I was...under the impression that our terms had been dismissed. [he sounds a little perplexed. is he mistaken?]

[mccrane]

That was what you said to me, when I first arrived. [He remembers, and he remembers how important it is that the Lambda be repaired.]

[McCrane looks just as perplexed when this information is delivered, however.] We formed a committee...and we have officers to enforce their laws. I didn't know there was any other requirement... [He is sure Blurr would have mentioned if they'd forgotten something, but...something was obviously lost in communication, here.]

Regardless, if we do form this contract with Vector, what guarantee do we have that the rest of your kind will honor it? [This is what really worries him.] You can impose your will upon us at any time that you want, but...we have no recourse. I don't...

[He purses his lips.] I don't want there to be a war, over something like this. [Because he's heard mention of it, and it scares him.] I need proof. [Concrete evidence, like any case would need.]

You have one representing each of my kin? [he regards McCrane seriously in this. if this was a matter of oversight...]

Before Vector spoke to you, we discussed it between ourselves. What it would take for us to grant to you such responsibility, and short of severe crimes as murder, minimal influence by us. As a matter of courtesy we would like to know what punishment are intended, but...

[he shakes his head]

You ask for autonomy. We ask for supervision and the right of intercession. I do not think it a large thing to ask for.

[he pauses, here, fingers tapping on the railing of the window as he chooses his next words]

I do not...agree with Megatronus' decision. I understand it, but Overlord is dangerous. [he makes a slight face] I am forced to trust Megatronus can control him. If nothing else, Megatronus is even more so.

[dangerous, that is.]

But it is because I trust him in this matter, because he is as near to my equal as any can be, because I respect his judgement that we avoid war. I, too, have heard its stories. And while we do not dismiss them lightly, they are still...other stories.

We do not intend to make the mistakes in them.

[mccrane]

[He thinks hard on this, going over the list from Blurr...and then looks up, realizing something.] We do not. We have almost all represented, but...I don't know what we're supposed to do if no one comes forward. [It wasn't like they could force someone to be on the committee, or a part of the police.] I don't think any of us could stand by and let crimes be committed just because we were lacking a member...

...and what would we do, if someone's alignment changed? [He points at his own Glyph, which has not been the same since he arrived.]

[Still, he listens to Prima, because what the Firstforged is saying is reasonable, and Prima is giving him the same courtesy. It's comforting, in a way, to have that protocol to fall back on.]

We are just worried. I know you trust Megatronus Prime, but...with what he did, it has been hard for all of us to trust you.

[That was the big problem, right now.]

If we can be granted this autonomy...I think that would help.

It's not fair to ask of you, but is it fair for you to ask us to concede when there is no representation?

This is not an easy situation. Please, do not think I am assuming it to be. Perhaps if one could be with you in another position, if not directly upon this law committee...

[he trails off, looking down at the Glyph. there's...a faint note of approval there. apparently, he likes what he sees.]

In your case...the changes yours show implies that the connection between us has strengthened to a noticeable level. You are still of mine, and still my representative. If one's Glyph were to change completely, to one of my other brothers'...

[he considers]

I think we would not ask they be replaced, but effort given to finding another representative.

I am willing to find a compromise, McCrane, but I will not concede to one that does not fulfill what we have already decided - not without giving my brothers another chance to discuss it. I know this damages the trust between us and you, but...should I damage the trust between us, instead?

[rungout]

[Approaching the Acolyte, Rung offers a slight nod in greeting, tucking his arms behind his back.]

I have something I would like to speak to Prima about and I was hoping you could pass the message along for me, if it's not too much trouble.

[primianpolarity]

[the Acolyte nods in return]

I am tasked to pass such messages. You wish to speak with him in person?

[rungout]

I do, yes.

[He had promised Dead End and he wasn't about to back out now.]

[primianpolarity]

It may take some time. However, I will inform him. [with a bow of its hooded helm, the Acolyte moves off with purpose

if Rung's still waiting in the area about an hour later, the Acolyte will return and seek to direct him further through the halls.

if he's not, it'll attempt to track him down and inform him that Prima's available to speak with.]

[The therapist waited for a bit before returning to his room for the time being, in the midst of going through his files when the Acolyte came to find him.

He doesn't hesitate to follow the other back, that nervousness settling in again but he does his best to hide it.]

[it's a bit of a trip, walking through the halls, but they're not nearly as twisted as they could be. Rung should have no trouble finding his way out, and, eventually, they go through an archway, and come out to what looks like...

well, for lack of a better phrase, a crystal garden. neatly organized and plotted, to an extent that it seems more professional than for pleasure.

Prima stands at the entry of the Acolyte and its follower, approaching slowly]

[It hopefully won't be that difficult to get out, Rung taking notes of certain things they pass before his attention is completely captured by the garden as they enter it. He doesn't notice Prima right away, distracted by the beauty of the place, no matter how professional it may seem.

It's stunning, it really is.

His attention is quickly drawn to Prima though and the therapist bows just slightly in greeting, arms still tucked behind his back.]

Thank you for making time to see me. I truly do appreciate it considering how important this matter is to me.

[Prima nods in greeting of his own, studying Rung] I assumed you wouldn't have asked for me were it not important, but you are welcome.
