A visit with Prima
Dec. 25th, 2013 05:23 pm[If you chose to follow the summons, the Elevator Doors are standing just as they have been, in the center of Prima's tower. Around them is a beautifully gilded mural of runes, with an inner light that seems to make them glow.
Glowing, however, is a constant in Prima's temple.
Thed open at your approach, and will close behind you once you have entered. From there, they proceed UP.
When you disembark, you'd find yourself somewhere high in his tower of light. You aren't quite as high as the lamp itself, but rather on an observational deck, where smooth glass windows let in the light's brilliance and show the entire Haven laid out below.
It is spectacular.
Prima himself is not in attendance immediately, leaving you time to look around. However, it would be only a few minutes before he arrived seemingly from nowhere, managing to make it even brighter in the room somehow.
As a direct individual, he gets immediately to the point.]
My brethren and I will be leaving the Haven shortly.
[He pauses, to let this sink in.]
This departure may be nearly permanent for the forseeable future. There is a lot of work to be done inside of Cybertron before Primus will return, and I intend to spend every hour necessary to do this.
As such, I wanted to make myself available to you before I left, should there be any questions you have.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The conversation will continue on from this point depending on how you respond below. Sae will be around to answer this log until the 1st of January, at which point anything not wrapped up will be summarized. Regardless of what turns the topic takes, Prima has gifts for his aligned:
A single, glowing crystal.
While the crystal itself can be used as a source of light (or energy, for those daring enough to hook it to a generator or Primus-forbid eat it), it has a secondary purpose.
It keeps you looking good.
When held and concentrated on, the crystal will remove all unwanted dirt, grease, fluid, and debris from the user and his clothing/armor. It acts as a 'field shower,' keeping Prima's aligned looking ready to take on the enemy and lead troops into battle no matter how difficult times get.
Although it does not actually heal wounds itself, it can act as a very useful tool for cleaning them.
It also makes a splendid gift, as the power can be used by anyone. You may wish to keep it close, however...supplies are limited!
Date: 2013-12-29 08:09 am (UTC)Definitely the leaderly/god type. She's actually intimidated. ]
You don't sugarcoat it.
[ She clenches her jaw. She could be aggressive, upset, but she isn't. Instead, she takes a breath. Diplomatic. That's what she needed to be right now. ]
I'm all for your Primus returning, you guys are pretty wrapped up in it.
But here's my question.
What do you expect us to do?
Date: 2014-01-02 05:00 am (UTC)I know what Primus would wish.
[He sighs, and glances out at Cybertron, gesturing.]
This was meant to be a world where a new species could develop, and grow, and thrive. He chose it specifically for the features that it contained--materials enough for a race of energy beings to house themselves and make bodies and build. He created us.
[And then he left. This...is of endless wonder and endless frustration to Prima.]
However, those plans were put on hold when Unicron breached trans-dimensional space. Primus is not here.
We are.
What I wish now is that his intentions for Cybertron continue even in his absense. You are not Cybertronian...but until we can fix the Lambda and offer you a return home I would like you to consider this your home. I would like us to make life here, and to make a planet that Primus will be proud to come home to.
Date: 2014-01-06 09:56 am (UTC)[ She sighs, poised as a commander would be, but the gears are turning. ]
I wanna know how you can ask us to do something like that. You have an ETA for that thing to get fixed?
Will all due respect; it's really hard to get comfortable enough to 'make a life' here not knowing when I'll be going home.
Date: 2014-01-23 02:42 am (UTC)Our goals are similar, however. We will not be able to adapt the Lambda for our own uses until Unicron is not controlling it. This means we either need to wage war on the Chaos God himself, or make it known to Primus that we need him to return.
When Unicron is gone...only then would we be able to return you to where you came.
[Prima sighs.]
You said your home might not be waiting?
no subject
Date: 2014-01-23 04:15 am (UTC)I did.
Put simply---I have my own 'Unicron' I have to worry about. More so, another species abducting human colonies, enslaving them.
I was at the helm to stop them.
You're right; our goals are similar. Though mine slightly more time sensitive.
Date: 2014-01-30 04:32 am (UTC)If I were able, I would offer my own aid in return.
[He doesn't like that 'abduction' thing. It reminds him too much of how many Refugees have been taken from the Haven.]
Those concerns are ones I might be able to alleviate, however. Vector has done many studies on trans-dimensional space, and from what I know they contain a variable for time.
It may be possible to return you to the exact moment that you left, if we are able to bring the Lambda under our control.
Is that something you are interested in assisting with?
Date: 2014-02-13 02:58 am (UTC)While you are here...I hope you will consider yourself my guest. My intention is to fix the rip that has marooned you here and help Cybertron become the planet that Primus intended it to be. This means I will be very busy most of the time.
However, I believe you understand that.
And I think you will also understand when I say...if there is anything that I can do for you, let me know.
[He reaches behind him.]
Until then, I have a small gift.
Date: 2014-02-14 02:30 am (UTC)[ She's less serious and more laconic, even jesting a bit. Military, she hears all kinds of lines all the time. ]
Well. We'll see, especially after you leave. Not like you're easy to find when you're gone.
[ Though she does look concerned. A gift? What? ]
no subject
Date: 2014-02-18 04:07 am (UTC)[Her jesting is returned with a small smile--one of Prima's very, very RARE ones.]
For you.
[His hand returns forward...and in it is a brilliantly clear crystal. At first it is difficult to tell that it has an inner glow, since Prima is holding it and he's basically ALWAYS glowing...however, as soon as you take it it would pulse gently and light itself to a comfortable level.]
It is a simple gift, but on a planet with so much dust and darkness, I think that you will find it useful.
All you need do is will-away any foreign bodies from your person, and they will vanish.
Sadly, this does not work on removing annoying individuals as much as it works on removing dirt.
[It is a joke. From Prima. This is truly a momentous day.]
Oops I'm the latest /sobs/ bad Demo
Date: 2013-12-31 09:20 pm (UTC)I see, your absence will change things here. [He kept the phrasing neutral, because while some would find the First Forged leaving to be a good thing, he wasn't entirely sure that it was.]
I have wealth of questions, but at the moment they seem rather miniscule in comparison to the revelation you just imparted to me.
ITS OKAY I'm the slowest. x-x
Date: 2014-01-02 05:03 am (UTC)[He sighs, but is glad that you can see it nevertheless.]
In some ways good and in some ways ill, I fear. I have watched our Refugees make homes here and begin rebuilding their lives. This may be easier without our meddling.
However, it will be difficult without our protection as well. That is something you will have to seek to maintain until we return.
